The SolaX Adaptor Box is designed to aid with Smart Home Energy Management for households that have a Smart Grid Heat Pump installed. With the SolaX Adaptor Box, homeowners can connect their Heat Pump to their SolaX Power energy storage system and realise direct control of the heat pump. This can be controlled via the settings on the SolaX Inverter. When your PV-generated energy is sufficient to supply regular household energy needs, and your battery is fully charged, you can direct the surplus energy to supply your heat pump. This maximises solar self-consumption and helps to reduce electricity bills. Simple and flexible Online monitoring 3 Work Modes For customers who are on the Feed-in tariff and prefer to sell more surplus energy to the grid, you can flexibly adjust the Work Mode to determine the most cost-effective way to use the energy. Disabled Mode – The adapter box function is disabled under this operation mode. Manual Mode – You can switch the Adaptor Box on/off as required via your SolaX inverter or the SolaX Cloud monitoring app. SmartSave Mode – Users can set a series of parameters to intelligently control how / when the heat pump works. Parameters include; Feed-in Power Threshold, Consumption Power Threshold, Battery SOC Threshold, Scheduled Heat Pump Working Periods and several more.
