Advanced Functions The SolaX Smart 7.2kW EV Charger has 3 modes – Green Mode, Fast Mode, and ECO Mode. Green Mode – Green Mode uses PV energy to charge the EV as much as possible. This means it may charge slower, but is far more economical for when you’re not in a rush! ECO Mode – This mode helps users to charge their EV with a combination of power from the grid and energy from the PV. This ensures a minimum charging rate which can be set by the user, while still ensuring ‘free’ PV energy is used. Fast Mode – Fast mode will charge the EV at the fastest possible rate, regardless of whether the energy is supplied from the Grid or from your Solar PV.
