The EG4 MPPT100-48HV is a high-voltage (HV) MPPT solar charge controller designed for 48V battery systems, offering efficient energy conversion and flexible solar array design for off-grid and hybrid setups. With a maximum PV input of 500VDC and up to 100A charging current, this controller allows you to run long, high-voltage strings, reducing the need for combiner boxes and minimizing wiring losses. It supports up to approximately 5,500W of solar input, making it ideal for medium-to-large battery charging applications. The unit uses Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology to continuously optimize the power harvested from solar panels, improving overall system efficiency (up to ~94%) and ensuring consistent battery charging performance. It is specifically built for 48V lithium battery systems, with an adjustable charging range (~48–62V), and includes RS485 communication for integration with EG4 batteries and BMS systems.
