Product detailsThe Southbend HDC-24 is a countertop charbroiler with a compact design. This 24" wide charbroiler is perfect for kitchens with space limitations. It features (4) burners that sit at a gap of 6" to quickly cook and grill food items. Each 20,000 BTU burner comes with an adjustable flame knob to independently control each burner to provide maximum control over cooking. The 3/4" gas connection comes standard with the unit. It has two-position and two-sided cooking for a convenient cooking experience. The standard front and sides of this charbroiler are constructed from heavy duty stainless steel to ensure durability and easy cleaning. The bottom and rear of the unit are constructed from aluminized steel to protect from corrosion and rust. Its double-wall sides are reinforced and fully insulated to withstand the demanding environment of a commercial kitchen. It comes equipped with cast iron radiants to ensure proper distribution of heat while cooking. The 5" high side and rear splash guards help keep the surroundings clean by stopping dirty water from splashing out. A removable, full-width stainless steel crumb tray is provided to make sure minimum time is spent on cleaning spilled food items. The unit comes with wide or narrow branding grates. A 4" spatula with grease trough also comes with the Charbroiler. The charbroiler unit stands stable on 4" adjustable stainless steel legs that keep the area below the unit clean. The unit is field convertible from radiant to briquette.
