Product detailsThe Star 8148RCBB Heavy-Duty Ultra-Max Radiant Gas Charbroiler is designed for challenging foodservice settings. Its maintenance-free stainless steel construction stands up to heavy-duty use and transfers maximum heat to the food being cooked on it. It also delivers more heat than traditional cast iron radiants, allowing for more efficient cooking. The charbroiler was also engineered to withstand bending and cracking due to thermal shock.Thanks to its high-capacity construction, this charbroiler provides 30% more cooking space than standard models. Its eight burners are positioned 6" apart, ensuring greater sectional control and better heat distribution. Each of the unit's tubular burners generate 20,000 BTU of heating power, and its cast-iron grates can be individually set in a flat or slanted position to accommodate a variety of broiling requirements. Users can even reverse the grates to sear meat on the thin side or cook delicate menu items on the thick side.The Star 8148RCBB Heavy-Duty Ultra-Max Radiant Gas Charbroiler is easy to clean, too. Both its water pan and tapered splash guard are made of stainless steel.
