Meant for restaurants, fast food joints, delis, diners, and other high demand food service locations, this unit operates on temperatures between 150°F and 450°F. The 1" thick steel griddle plate has a throttling thermostat fitted 5/16" away from the cooking surface. The plate ensures even heat distribution and fast temperature recovery. Its all stainless steel construction aids long-lasting appearance and durability. The heavy-gauge stainless steel bullnose design of this unit helps in protecting the knob controls.This commercial griddle has long-lasting, heavy-duty metal knobs that can withstand the rigors of foodservice industry. The custom designed 28,300 BTU aluminized U-shaped steel burner on this unit is installed at 12" intervals on the cooking surface for an even heat distribution. For minimum heat loss, the unit has double stainless steel walls and an enclosed bottom. The entire body is welded for durability and features a 4-1/2" high tapered splash guard. The front panel is cool-to-touch which makes this unit safe to operate. A 3-1/4" front grease trough and grease chute are in the unit for easy cleaning. For optimum sanitation, a 4-1/2 qt. stainless steel grease drawer is provided.This commercial griddle is available in 15", 24", 36", and 48" widths. The unit is shipped in natural gas variant with a gas conversion kit is supplied with the griddle.
