Product detailsThe Wells F-15 is a counter-top fryer perfect for frying onion rings, potato wedges, and other snacks. The unit comes with (2) side hanging, 1/2 size fry baskets as standard components. The deep-drawn fry pot in this unit can be easily removed and is made of stainless steel that adds durability and strength to its design. The frypot can hold 15 lbs oil which makes it suitable for medium volume commercial foodservice applications.This counter-top fryer has the front, sides, top, and the elements made of corrosion- and rust-resistant stainless steel. It maintains oil temperatures between 200°F and 375°F. The oil temperature is operated by a positive off, snap-action, adjustable thermostat. A manual reset safety feature is provided on the thermostat that shuts the heating element power in case the temperature level reaches above safety mark. A red indicator light turns on whenever the temperature crosses the safety mark. The elements have a swing-up, immersion type design. With an element rating of 4,319/5,750 Watts at 208/240V allows the unit to produce 32 lbs French fries per hour.This fryer has the elements installed below the baskets for an even heat distribution. Elements control housing features spring-loaded, self-locking rod support that safely secures elements whenever they are raised. The (4) 4" stainless steel adjustable legs provide maximum stability to the unit. A plug and cord come included.
