Product detailsThe True TOAM-48-HC Vertical Air Curtain Display Merchandiser is an open front display case that is perfect for keeping fresh salads, beverages, and sandwiches. The air curtain merchandiser features a thermometer installed on the interior along with safety shielded LED lighting. It has been designed using the highest quality material and components, giving users a system with colder product temperatures and lower utility costs. The exterior front and sides are made of durable and permanent non-peel or chip white vinyl while the back is made of aluminum in matching white color. The system blows a curtain of air down to the front of the unit to keep the cold air inside.The lower front panel is made from durable and break-resistant plexiglass while the attractive stainless steel interior is NSF approved and has a white aluminum liner. The deck pans on the unit are also made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Ecomate, a high-density, polyurethane insulation has been used to foam-in-place the entire cabinet structure. The insulation has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and zero global warming potential (GWP). The welded heavy-duty steel frame rail is black powder-coated for maximum corrosion resistance. The frame has been fitted with leg levelers. The sign panel on the exterior is illuminated for maximum visibility.The unit offers storage capacity of 34.0 cu. ft. on its four adjustable PVC coated wire shelves with 4 chrome-plated shelf clips. The factory-engineered, self-contained, capillary tube system uses an environmentally friendly CFC-free R404A refrigerant. With an extra-large evaporator coil and condenser balanced with an 1-1/2 HP compressor, this unit is able to maintain cabinet temperatures from 35-degree Fahrenheit to 40-degree Fahrenheit. The off-cycle defrost system is time-initiated and time-terminated while the fan motors are tightly sealed, made of cast-iron, and are self-lubricating. The True TAC-48-LD has a patented reversing condenser fan motor that works during defrost off cycles to help keep the condenser coil free from debris, dust, and dirt.For easy maintenance, the condenser unit has been mounted at the bottom of the merchandiser. The back wall of the interior has perforations on it to allow more efficient airflow. The product has been listed under NSF-7 for display/storage of bottle or packaged products. The unit has been completely pre-wired at the factory and is ready for final connection to a 208-230V/ 60 Hz, single-phase power source with a dedicated 15 amp outlet. It comes with a cord and plug.
