Product detailsThe Traulsen G12001 is a commercial G-Series half-height door reach-in freezer with top-mounted compressor. An important addition to most foodservice establishments, this cold storage solution can prolong the life of fresh foods by holding them at safe food temperatures. Durable and energy-efficient, this left-hinged freezer boasts a neat and clean appearance with sleek stainless steel exterior (front and half-height solid doors). The cabinet sides and interior are made of corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum for years of service life. Featuring an interior storage capacity of 24.2 cubic feet, this single section reach-in freezer has a half-door design that divides the cabinet into smaller sections to maintain interior temperatures while conserving energy. The self-closing door design prevents cold air from escaping rapidly, while the stay-open feature keeps the door opened past 120° until you manually close it. The interior features three (3) factory-installed, epoxy coated wire shelves for easy organization and promoting even, complete air circulation. Each shelf can hold up to 225 lb to store important ingredients and foods. The interior has automatically activated LED lighting with a concealed switch. The commercial refrigeration unit is designed with Traulsen's patented unique clockwise airflow pattern to keep cold air in, and warm air out. It runs on eco-friendly R-404a refrigerant and has a 1/2 HP compressor. This Traulsen G12001 single-section reach-in freezer allows for temperature adjustment between -5°F to 0°F with microprocessor temperature controls. The thermostatic expansion valve metering device provides quick refrigeration recovery times. The top mounted refrigeration system on this unit saves on your crucial floor storage space, while keeping the frozen goods within arm's reach.
