CLG - Calcium Lactate (Gluconolacate) 250g

CLG is a combination of 2 molecules of calcium gluconate & 3 molecules calcium lactate. Used as a calcium source for the reverse Spherification process: where a liquid containing calcium is dropped into a solution containing sodium alginate to create a liquid centre sphere. Unlike calcium chloride (used in standard Spherification) calcium gluconolactate has no taste so will not impart any undesirable flavour to any liquid used.
